Grand Avenue Means Green

Grand Avenue’s commitment to efficiency and quality in ground transportation is only the beginning. We are environmentally conscious and responsible in all of our choices, including technology and office construction.

The company’s new corporate headquarters at 186 North First Street in Nashville, Tennessee, is currently being built to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver standards, as determined by the U.S. Green Building Council. True to the goals of LEED, Grand Avenue’s new building blends environmental awareness and protection with long-term economic interests and functionality.

In October 2011, the company also joined Green Ride Global, a transportation industry consortium that advises member companies on adopting and maintaining best-practice environmental strategies that withstand the most rigorous scrutiny. This affiliation advances Grand Avenue’s existing programs to reduce its emissions and environmental footprint through fuel-use tracking and GPS-informed efficient route design.
