Carl Haley, Jr.

Chief Executive Officer

“I want our customers to experience flawless ground transportation. Every time. During each trip, we strive for perfection. Anything less just isn’t good enough.”

- Carl Haley, Jr.

Carl Haley, Jr., president and chief executive officer, founded Grand Avenue in 2009 to provide a better kind of ground transportation service for Greater Nashville and beyond – one that met his high expectations. Haley oversees business development, operations, reservations, marketing and fleet management, working closely with his team to continually improve service.

Haley has built Grand Avenue into Middle Tennessee’s largest, most innovative ground transportation company. Grand Avenue‘s staff of 55 serve more than 3,000 clients across the region, including numerous Nashville’sinstitutions such as the Tennessee Titans and Vanderbilt University. Its fleet of diverse vehicles - ranging from limousines, luxury shuttlesvansbuses and even vintage cars and trucks – allows Grand Avenue to meet a wide range of transportation needs.

Prior to leading Grand Avenue, Haley was executive vice president at AIM Healthcare, a leading provider of payment accuracy solutions. He also served as director of operations at Sallie Mae and as a police officer. He was inspired to found Grand Avenue after discovering, in role as a corporate executive, that standard ground transportation services throughout Nashville were not customized to meet individual client needs.

Haley graduated from George Mason University with a degree in Information Sciences. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, he now resides in Franklin, Tennessee, with his wife Connie and their two dogs, two peacocks and several horses.
